Town Style Building Question

I am curious as to how most people build their buildings when constructing a
town.

My questions are pretty simple:

1)  Do you build a complete building with four (or more sides) or do you
leave the back open for access and viewing of the interior?

2)  When building a multi-floor struture do you have actual "floors" for
each level?

In the two buildings that I built over the weekend I left the back (and part
of the roof) open on both of them.  My reasons for doing so were 1) to have
acess and 2) because I don't have enough slopes and windows and if I
conserve them by not doing the rear side of my buildings, I can build more
of them.

Good question, I wrestle with that one myself. I usually build a roof on it, unless it is a flat roof building. If it is a flat roof, I might put one row of angled bricks to make it look feasible for a roof, kind of like a decoy. I always leave the (...) (26 years ago, 5-Apr-99, to lugnet.build)
