(...) Nick Crocco has some on his site, S.W.A.T. (Some Weird Action Team) and Mike Wampole has some on Legobot Headquarters, which has been down lately and may still be.   Re: My Latest MOC-- a Chateau

(...) Perhaps the structure builders are happy you've stayed away - your chateau is hard to compete with! Very nice - I love the detail and the clean symmetry. I always like to see pictures of structures in the plastic, as opposed to ray-traced. (24 years ago, 31-Dec-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.trains.org)

Re: My Latest MOC-- a Chateau

(...) What did you use for the columns on the front? They look like they're one piece, whereas the ones on the back look like "normal" 2x2 round bricks.   Re: My Latest MOC-- a Chateau

(...) It's a nice piece of work, J2. Kind of narrow, though, you should consider making it a bit wider. That's a lot of windows, I can see why you credited LD for making it possible. ++Lar (24 years ago, 31-Dec-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.trains.org)

Re: My Latest MOC-- a Chateau

(...) Thanks, JT. (Already apologized for the pic quality:/) It is mostly white; the corners, base, and trim are gray (too bad it isn't all gray; how nuts would that be to have *that* many gray 1x2x2 windows!)   Proposal: a TOWN building contest!

In the spirit of the recent Classic Space building contest, I'm proposing (and am willing to organise) a building contest for us TOWN junkies.   Re: My Latest MOC-- a Chateau

John, Great job on the Chateau, I stumbled across it this morning on Brickshelf and was very impressed with the ornate details around the doors and windows. Is it gray or white?   Re: Landing Gear Troubles

Try the Adventurers' car hubs. They're spoked the entire way around and are the same size as the Technic hubs you described. Only problem is that they might not look "Spacey," they're a bit old fashioned looking. (24 years ago, 31-Dec-00, to lugnet.build, lugnet.space)
