  Re: LEGO Foosball table

(...) any case, nice work!!! (...) LOL! I guess you've shown that it wouldn't be necessary. Cool! (Notwithstanding, I wouldn't mind drilling Timmies and Jar-Jars.) --Todd (24 years ago, 5-Oct-00, to lugnet.sports, lugnet.build, lugnet.gaming)

  Re: LEGO Foosball table

(...) Check out these pics Todd, just a suggestion for a mini table. Somewhat modular and Lineup may need to be "Dressed" before next play [/:-) (URL) Drilling, poor things. Best DaveG (24 years ago, 5-Oct-00, to lugnet.sports, lugnet.build, lugnet.gaming)

  Re: LEGO Foosball table

(...) I probably won't ever do this (too expensive and time-consuming) but I thought it would be fun to think about. Drilling holes in the torsos would probably work (eek! :-), if you've seen the experiments that Paul Gyugyi did with his Hexatron (...)   RE: LEGO Foosball table

(...) Well, The axles don't have to range freely across the board, so if you're willing to GLUE them to axle connectors, you could make them any length you want, but the range would be limited by the longest axle. (12 LU I think) But how are you (...) (24 years ago, 5-Oct-00, to lugnet.sports, lugnet.build, lugnet.gaming)

  LEGO Foosball table

What would it take to build a little Foosball table out of LEGO elements? Let's say it used the Football/Soccer ball and maybe include some of the minifigs. For the bars and knobs, could Technic axles be used and extended at key points where the (...) (24 years ago, 5-Oct-00, to lugnet.sports, lugnet.build, lugnet.gaming)

Re: Newest fan of the Sharpie for customizing!

(...) A light bulb! Doh! Works very nicely, thank you. Here are the results: (URL) minfigure does not lend itself well to gymnastic poses but it was fun nonetheless and the customizing concept holds great promise. John (24 years ago, 5-Oct-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs)

  multi-limbed alien pod racer (SW:EpI:PM)

Inspired by someone else's creative use of the Minifig Skeleton Leg, (and using the Lego CAD data file for the Minifig Aviator's Cap that I posted the other night; see "(URL) I created a model of the multi-limbed pod racing alien from "Star Wars - (...)   Re: Dan the Man is at it again

(...) If you get a chance, ask Dan if he was insprired at all by Traveler. I don't know why, but for some reason his carrier design really reminds me of one of the ship designs in GDW's Traveler.   Re: Newest fan of the Sharpie for customizing!

(...) Personally, I use the Marvy-Uchida brand DecoColor markers for colors, and Sharpies only for black. After I paint them, I'll put the minifig next to a 60 watt lightbulb to dry.
