It's worked for me, but I allowed at least 24 hours with the bulb before I

A light bulb!  Doh!  Works very nicely, thank you.  Here are the results:

A minfigure does not lend itself well to gymnastic poses but it was fun
nonetheless and the customizing concept holds great promise.
