Hi, Znap came to a nearby TRU so I bought the 3510 polybag to check it out. I wonder about using Znap for a skyscraper skeleton. Does anybody have a working scheme for this? Those blue cylinders on the arms aren't weapons, or do you mean I should add weapons to the arms? Anyways, thanks Pearson, although I don't want to add weapons to the arms cause then the model will look too, too, as M.P. (thats me!) puts it (...) (25 years ago, 14-May-00, to lugnet.build)

Very intresting approach. I like the way you used the minifigs neck for the entire backpack- by looking at it you could sware it was connected to the legs. Thanks Ben, I think I'm getting better because a) I am trying so hard to not copy anyone else, i.e. I have stopped using Karim's mecha hand ever since the Grunt Mecha, and b) I have stopped *building* models, and moved to *sculpting them. Is it possible you got them off Ebay or somthing? I do that alot... Someone asks me why I have so many of one peice, I can't answer, then I relize I got them then in a lot or somthing. Well.. I there are a few reasons why i use a lot of colors, first to be a little diffrent from other lego mecha and (you guessed it) I dont have peices in all the right colors. Adam, That is a fantastic mini-mech! It appears to be slightly larger than a minifig. That's great! I'll probably be making items of similar size for my 'M- force' creations. I agree with Sproat here... I love the form your mecha have, but the multiple colors make it difficult to distinguish shapes. I suggest selecting one main color to use, and then a second color as a style/detail color. I recently built a red mecha (...) (25 years ago, 11-May-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Ah, the venerable Tomahawk. Afraid I don't know which episode it debuted in, though. Looks real nice, Sproat. You've captured the chunky, armored look of it very well. If you want a stable rotating section, use 2 of the large technic turntables (one on each side of the rotating section) and run technic beams (or other long bricks) through the center hole to keep the front and back from rotating in relation to (...) (25 years ago, 10-May-00, to lugnet.build)
