Yes LEGO did make drafting paper!

TLC actually did make a drafting type paper back in the 1960's. The Architectural Sets (#750, #751, #752) each came with several sheets of this paper, which looks more like graph paper. Each box within the grid was the size of a 1x1 brick. The (...) (25 years ago, 16-Mar-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build, lugnet.edu)

  Re: Website

(...) The application matters to the user/browser, but not the server. The application type tells the browser what kind of app to launch. This allows a greater flexability for the end-user. See, from the server end, an application type doesn't map (...) (25 years ago, 16-Mar-00, to lugnet.publish, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Website

Quite possibly I don't have a clue what I'm doing. The mime type you listed and that are listed in the FAQ have the extension: .dat and an application type: application/x-ldlite application/x-ldraw etc. If it doesn't matter, why specify then? By the (...) (25 years ago, 16-Mar-00, to lugnet.publish, lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) animated gif/'ad' for your 'mecha production company' I'll gladly place it on Jain's Guide ((URL) (someday on its own site)). In return, I steal all ur ideas and make my own mecha!! (...) ...I get that all the time... windows politely uses caps but shows me lower case and when I xfer it to a good unix system, all my links suddenly stop working :-/ It seems to catch NT worse than 98 tho, for some reason, 98 doesn't create caps (...)   Re: Website

(...) I'm not sure if I follow. You can't do much from the server end to optimize this. The user selects which app to associate to the different mime-types. All the server has to do is to declare what mime-type a file is, and the browser launches (...) (25 years ago, 16-Mar-00, to lugnet.publish, lugnet.build.mecha)

[I shoulda trimmed .publish and .build.mecha, and XFUT to .cad, but I didn't. Oh, well] (...) I've tried just about every option, both for Windows file-type association, and the MIME-type association. At various times, I've used LDLite, LDraw, (...)   Re: drafting paper

(...) I'm not remembering the exact, specific definition of 'isometric', but I've produced some isometric-type graph paper that is quite useful for LEGO designing. The grid is made of vertical lines and diagonal lines which are at about a 20-degree (...) (25 years ago, 16-Mar-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build, lugnet.edu)

I might try lineing them up anyway but I am still happy with the way it looks. Eric Kingsley The New England LEGO (...) (25 years ago, 16-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.arch)

Making one of those "Foreign" Ambulances.....

After watching Black Mask for like the 100th time, I got an inspiration to build those Hong Kong Ambulances in the movie. After checking the records, the obvious starting point to build one is with #6676 Mobile Comamnd Unit. But, coverting the unit (...) (25 years ago, 16-Mar-00, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build)
