Making one of those "Foreign" Ambulances.....

After watching Black Mask for like the 100th time, I got an inspiration to
build those Hong Kong Ambulances in the movie.
After checking the records, the obvious starting point to build one is with
#6676 Mobile Comamnd Unit. But, coverting the unit from Police to Ambulance
Duty is abit daunting.
First off, what to do with the layer of Black Bricks and Strips on the bottom?
Remove it and use the bricks from the Ambulance in the Emergency Treatment
Center Ambulance or Set #6608?
Also, what about a back door? I'm thinking of making a door similar to the one
built in the Tine Lorry Promo Set, only reverse. Plus, since I need to
compsensate for the lost bricks, is it feasable to use the walls from the
lorry too for the sides of the van?
Any help would be appreciated.
