  Re: 3D-puzzle: the Sphere

(...) I tried to build each piece of the puzzle as straightforward as possible. The 3x3 plate without corner was not in the first (MLCad) version. I wanted something to stick out slightly (to come closer to the shape of a sphere), without using an (...) (20 years ago, 31-Dec-04, to lugnet.build)

  Re: 3D-puzzle: the Sphere

(...) Neat stuff. I am a fan of the door rail part as I think it is quite versatile. It is an interesting compromise you made, using that part and the 3x3 plate with corner cut off but otherwise restricting yourself to non rounded, non sloped, full (...)   Re: First Mosaic - Joker

I love it! The design and colors are perfect, and the build looks great. I'd love to see pics of it when it's on the wall. -Elroy (20 years ago, 31-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

  First Mosaic - Joker

I first saw a Lego mosaic during the master builder tryouts about a year ago (no, I wasn't a finalist), and thought it was pretty cool. I had the simple idea then to make an ace of spades mosaic, but I never really got around to it. Then in early (...) (20 years ago, 31-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.mosaic)

  3D-puzzle: the Sphere

Hi all, 1) In April I designed a LEGO-version of the wooden puzzle-cube (in MLCad). (URL) 2) In May it was followed by the spherical version of that very same puzzle (also in MLCad).   Re: Shiny new things

There's clever parts usage, color coordination and advanced SNOT everywhere on these. So much detail in such small packages. Thought density. They are all master level MOCs. K ps. The Hardsuit seems to have tigerskin underwear, not that I noticed. (20 years ago, 30-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Minifig-scale China Clipper flying boat complete!

Hi Matso That is a fantastic flying boat you have built. I clicked "up" to see your other models and like Ted says, your MOCs would look great at a show/large layout. I hope to see more of your Flying Boats in the future. Thanks. Chris (20 years ago, 30-Dec-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)
