You did a good job with your color choices...it looks a little sportier!

Well, I think you did a great job with the plane - I've been wanting to build
one of these for a VERY long time, and your rendition is well-thought out and
detailed. The only change that I would suggest would be that the winglets on the
bottom might need a little rounding at the corners...they seem too square.
As for the dihedral problem, try using the approach here - it's a really clever
solution:

| (...) Thanks Joe. Those sponsons (the winglets along the bottom of the hull) were a big kludge...I didn't have enough corner slopes to do what I really wanted. Next time I'll use triangular plates on the ends! I'll try that dihedral idea also, (...) (20 years ago, 2-Jan-05, to lugnet.build)
