Re: 2 New Starfighters- Kestrel and Bloodstar II

(...) These are fun, Todd. The Kestral has a nice, slender airframe that works really well with it's 'light' designation. It's good to see that canopy in use as well. The angling of the rear fins nicely breaks up the line and gives it some (...) (20 years ago, 9-Jul-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: wishin' on a star

(...) Well, a lot of the pieces you showed would make sense to complete the Lego system. BUT we are talking of TLC, so waiting for a solution that would make sense is most propably a waste of time. Unless of course they would need one of the bricks (...) (20 years ago, 9-Jul-04, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.build, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment)

Anyone have instructions for set #309 (Church)?

I was looking for something on Peeron today and quite by accident stumbled upon this set: (URL) there are no instructions linked from Brickshelf. The design of the building struck me as interesting, especially when I saw the piece count for the 1x2 (...) (20 years ago, 9-Jul-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.inst)

  Re: Name that Mecha

(URL) (...) Cool mecha. As I'm not a mecha builder I'll say my favorite part is that its made of lego. But while I'm no expert in mecha, I am an expert in cheesy thumbs up photos- and you sir do a fine one. While Lenny began the trend here at (...)   The Jamocklaquat - Original Construction Images are back!

Hello, hello, hello, happy day. The Jamocklaquat's original construction images are back on Brickshelf! For reasons I cannot stomach to explain, they were removed. However, they are back up now. (URL) Try as I may, I have to create new pictures of (...) (20 years ago, 8-Jul-04, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.technic, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: SR-71 Blackbird

<snip> (...) areas, But because you got the shape spot on, you have not lost any of the impact and the studs do not detract from the model. The cockpit and landing gear look like the real thing (cockpit in the thumbnail looks real, not lego). A (...) (20 years ago, 8-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Name that Mecha

(...) Oh! Thanks a lot for explaining, I couldn't figure out how you did it! JP. (20 years ago, 8-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: wishin' on a star

You know this 1x2 brick hinge... (URL) I have wished for years that it was also made in a 1x1 style. Could you folks who design the parts consider it? Thank you. Eric Sophie (20 years ago, 8-Jul-04, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: wishin' on a star

(...) Lots of excellent choices. I've got a bit of a wish list two. a) 1x3, 2xn tiles. Basically, tiles in the same size range as we already have in plates b) 2xn plates with a single row of studs (similar to the 2x1 with one stud) c) ball & socket (...)   Re: Murasaki modular corridor system

(...) I made it as much out of guilt as anything else. I felt really bad when I realized how hard it was to work single-connection modules in at my first MichLUG show, knowing the whole time that my second module was going to be another (...)   Re: Name that Mecha

(...) In fact I studied the Knight-Gigant pretty closely while I was building this. I love the look of it, but when you look closely there's a lot of single stud connections in there. It must be as fragile as all get-out. But yes, I was aiming to (...) (20 years ago, 8-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: wishin' on a star

(...) Deborah (and others) I made this offer awhile ago but had no takers - what the heck, I'll make it again here. If anyone has "wish list" parts they'd like to use in MLCAD but doesn't necessarily know how to author dat files, there's another way (...) (20 years ago, 7-Jul-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: wishin' on a star

(...) Not at all. Well, maybe with my second guess on #13, but that's a matter of the evidence (i.e. the original mlcad plate that it was modified from) being flawed. For everything else I clearly thought just hard enough, since I pegged them all. (...) (20 years ago, 7-Jul-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: wishin' on a star

Re: Moonbase Module: Mount SciBrick - Mech Bay 05

(...) Yay! Hi Nate.... (...) Your Mech Bay would be studless, that's why! Mr. Technic Beam. (...) Thank you, but I still believe in your creativity. Trick is to make it happen. We all dream, it just depends on wheather or not you actually sit down (...) (20 years ago, 7-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

Re: Moonbase Module: Mount SciBrick - Mech Bay 05

(...) Thank you sir! I saw a simular "bones in the ground" set up in a NELUG display and it's just the thing to do. (...) Since this is a power up facility, Mechs just walk up and get some power, mostly automated I would think. Perhaps some (...) (20 years ago, 7-Jul-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)
