Re: 30' creations (was Re: The Yamato)

(...) Well, if y'all are going to be quoting past massive LEGO bridges, I should step in and set the record straight :-) Actually, I have a little list and I know it's not complete, but here are some of the longest bridges done to date: The big (...) (21 years ago, 8-Oct-03, to lugnet.build)

  Hello All !!!

Hi There, This is my first post at the much revered LUGNET!!! I have got into making Lego models again after many years, it was by pure chance that I saw foundryDX one day after browsing some well designed websites. I was totally gobsmacked. (...) (...) (URL) Here's> one that's about 14' in length. I know, I know, it includes MEGABLOKS, but the designer points out that this was due to the $$ limitations of using only LEGO, which did not offer bulk sales in 1997, whereas RITVIK was willing to (...) (...) You're right. That was just a cheesy joke on my part. (...) I was thinking the same thing. Last year's Study 9 ((URL)) did reach the 15' mark and Ross Crawford's beautiful Sydney Harbor bridge (aka "Coathanger") ((URL)) breaks the 4m mark. My (...)   Re: 30' creations (was Re: The Yamato)

(...) Right, and arguably that counts even though that's not nearly as much work as a small.er creation with lots of detail. I'm sort of curious what this question's trying to get at. Train clubs and space moonbase displays are clearly exceeding 30 (...) (21 years ago, 8-Oct-03, to lugnet.build, FTX)

30' creations (was Re: The Yamato)

(...) You could lay 36 straight roadplates end to end, place some bricks on each side of the road to create a fence and call that a 30' MOC. Adr. (21 years ago, 8-Oct-03, to lugnet.build, FTX)

(...) Hej Chris, got me by surprise there! (...) Sounds great. When it comes to the Gripen I'll do it like I did with my Hercules (also 1:20), use the plastic model kit I own and measure all parts from there. This time, I even scanned the (...) (21 years ago, 8-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.military)

(...) Actually, I'm planning on going to BricksFest PDX. If you get me the instructions, I'll build one for you. I think I even got a white dome. If I don't, I'll get one. Mark (21 years ago, 8-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Black Mamba Mk II

Usually, I am a quiet lurker in .space, and only occaisionally swing by .mecha to look at the latest MOCs. Given my relative inexperience in Mecha, my praise may not be worth much, but here it is anyway. Wow. When I checked the link I was really (...) (21 years ago, 8-Oct-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: it's finally here!

BTW Brickshelf folders display alphabetically, so if you don't want brickshelf to put certain pictures first in the folder, simply prefix them with a 'z' before uploading.   Re: Black Mamba Mk II

(...) Excellent. I much prefer this to the original. It's sleeker, lighter and armed to the hilt. It's the gun mounts (and what guns they are!) replacing those somewhat simian arms that does it for me I think. They seem to go better with that leg (...)
