(...) Thanks man. Coming from you that is quite the compliment! (...) I know. But it was the only color I had and I just digged the shape of it too much! No excuses. I dye the thing next time! ;P (...) you know me, big guns and clunky is my mantra! (...) (21 years ago, 3-Sep-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Two Mechs

(...) i think it would be safe to say that the name "mark neuman" has come to be synonymous with the term "chicken-leg walker". when i saw your mech on brickshelf, i didn't even pay attention to who it said built it. i knew right away it was yours.   Re: Two Mechs

(...) canopy, whilst probably not very practical for a war machine, nevertheless is a cool piece and I alway like seeing it used. The interior detailing of the cockpit is wonderful and the canopy allows it to be shown off. The tyre sandwiched (...) (21 years ago, 3-Sep-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

On 14.59 9/2/2003 +0000, Mark wrote (...) the details on the feets. Great look there. Overall, the green gray always looks good and you blended it great here. Two bricks up on this one. (...) of the canopy. Legs look pretty tough too - I usually don't like reverse knee mecha as much because they look spindly, but not this guy. Cool toes too. (...) -Chris (21 years ago, 2-Sep-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Piano MOCs

over the weekend, while stuck for .space ideas, visions of music and keyboards kept coming to me in daydream. Lucky for us all, I was able to realize my ideas in the form of a plethora of pianos... the upright (URL) player (URL) the grand (URL) if (...)   Re: Mecha Pose # 302

(...) -snip- (...) I think all those poses are amazing, but this one is IMO the best: (URL) It reminds of anime mecha SO much, it's not even funny. Eric, you seriously gotta start building super-detailed, multi-jointed Gundams, complete with beam (...) (21 years ago, 2-Sep-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: "CHRISTMAS THROUGH THE EYES OF A CHILD" CONTEST

(...) I've considered it, and I'm going for it with a crash project of large expense to me. lol What the heck, I need the parts anyway.   Re: Two Mechs

(...) Your stuff just keeps getting better and better! The legs, as usual, look very refined, sturdy, and cool. Heck, you got almost everything else perfect on this one, Mark. However, the light green parts on the end of those upper cannons detract (...) (21 years ago, 2-Sep-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Two Mechs

I got the Bullfrog (URL) the Firefly Drone (URL) for Space and Mecha. Bullfrog is a bit differnet looking I think. But the Firefly, now that's a pretty neat bot. I don't know if the pics will do it justice, but we see. Enjoy Mark Snow Daddy Neumann (21 years ago, 2-Sep-03, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Mecha Pose # 302

Man, that's more agile then I am :) I kept thinking when I printed the Little bot instructions that it should be fairly upgradable in the building technique, looks like I was right!   Re: Another New Kid on the Block...

Pretty cool. I dig the freaky accessories, the jackhammers and buzzsaws all over the mecha. Reminds me of the cyborg gladiators from Gunnm*, retro-industrial/tribal death machines leading street gangs. I like the color scheme, it seems very (...)
