Good job Ryan! I have to admit, the "trash can" always did have a space in my heart. I do like it with the 1/4 domes and the thin slit of a window. First of all, I've never gotten a mosaic(the greyscale thing was kind of a turn off), so I didn't know it included pieces for a frame. Now I see that it does have a frame - more of a border in my opinion. Secondly, I kind of had in mind fancier (...) Why not release a set with a bunch of tiles of different shades of gray (in the first release, colour later) with the software. Then you could import you own pics, run the software and get the instructions on your own PC to build your own mosaic. (...) A lot of good points. 1) There definitely needs to be color added. This is just a given. 2) Definitely a good idea (the software is a REALLY good idea), but I don't think they'd come out with a mosaic set with that many pieces. Though your (...) The mutilation is not the tubing cutting, it is in taking the wheel off the car steering wheel part as the nub on the base is heat formed to hold the wheel on, it's not intended to be removed. Hi all, I thought I'd post a note about the 95% completed LEGO replica of my house. Mini-fig scale is not my usual forte, but I've had various versions of this model sitting about my studio for some time... I thought I should go ahead, update it, (...)   Lego WTC (World Trade Center) Kit
 
This seems like an amazing idea to me, and certainly not far-fetched. I envision a complete (or simply the two towers) World Trade Center set.   New MOCs: hoppers, cars, microtank
 
Ross has been at it again: (URL) yellow hopper is modeled after an HO Peabody hopper that was given to Ross as a boy-- he carried it everywhere. Then he built red and black versions. After long internal deliberation, I have decided that today is sorting day. I no longer have the depth of parts I need to create new mecha to my own standards. Kotaro, wow... STELLAR work! It's truly amazing how Japanese builders are able to convey so *much* with so few pieces. Very nice! Question: How are the sides put together? It looks like there are just stacks of alternating green and white 2x2 bricks, but of course those would be seperate columns that wouldn't stick to the rest. Is there glue involved?
