  Re: DracoMech 5000

(...) I'm cross-posting to .castle because there are lots of dragon lovers there. Bruce (22 years ago, 15-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.castle)

Re: Ice Planet Entry: Scissor Wing IV - pov ray color tweaking

(...) That's an alternate, isn't it? The Scissor Wing IV, to believe it or not, is also an alternate of the Deep Freeze defender, but since there were not 3x2 ice planet sloped logos in my Ldraw database, I had to resort to the classic space logo.   Another Ice Planet contest entry!!! ;)

Hehe... this entry is to prod you people into building a decent base entry for the IP contest. Either that, or it'll snag me an easy win if no one wants to one-up me. So, who will be brave enough to rise to the occasion and put an end to this (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

Re: Ice Planet Entry: Scissor Wing IV

(...) Okay, I viewed the contest website and noticed that the description and the element count weren't included, so I got an accurate count.   Re: Pics: 3 more buildings

Hey John, You're right, those train engines do steal the show. :) Nothing against the building, they're just some of the most amazing models I've seen. On the red building, I really like the round window above the entryway. I'll have to try that (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.trains)

  Pics: 3 more buildings

The updating continues. 1. I'm not sure what I did, but I noticed that I had deleted pics of my SOL green building. There some new pics of that. 2. I reshot a few of my tan building. 3. I took some new ones of my engine shed. I thought that it would (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.trains)

Re: Ice Planet Entry: Scissor Wing IV

(...) One last minor problem, easily solved: the second file should have been named "Addition_Ames.ldr" as it appears in the ldr file of the main model. Having both files in the same directory, with the second one correctly named, allows someone to (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jun-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: DracoMech 5000

(...) Nice work! It's always cool to see models built from limited pieces like this. It's a real test when you can't throw 1000's of different elements at the project to make it look good. Adrian -- www.brickfrenzy.com (22 years ago, 15-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Ice Planet Contest Entry! - Frost Fly (Blizzard Baron alternate)

Here's an entry for category VII - Alternates. This one is a Blizzard Baron altnernate, making use of all but 5 of the pieces from the stock set and using nothing outside the set. It's been a while since I've attempted an alternate and I'd forgotten (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.contests)

  DracoMech 5000

I made this a while ago but haven't been able to get decent pictures of it. But I decided I would post what I have any way. It is a mech design based on a dragon form. Find it here: (URL) is made mostly from 2 Technic Stormtrooper sets and a bohrok. (...) (22 years ago, 15-Jun-02, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build.mecha) !

Re: Ice Planet Entry: Scissor Wing IV

(...) Okay, I think I have it now. I saved the ldarw files to my brickshelf folder, so I hope this works. I'm relatively new at this, so I hope I'm not getting you impatient. <<_Matt Hein_>> Lugnet No. 1112 (22 years ago, 15-Jun-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

Re: Ice Planet Entry: Scissor Wing IV

(...) Nope, sorry. The current documents look like element lists. A DAT or MPD file will have coordinates plotted. You want to open both MOC MPD files, and export or merely save them as DAT files or MPD files. Try posting those. -- The Ice Worm (22 years ago, 15-Jun-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

Re: Ice Planet Entry: Scissor Wing IV

Re: Ice Planet Entry: Scissor Wing IV

(...) Thanks. For my first MOC, I didn't know what the response would be. Yes, this was an original design, but the Unitron Starhawk II did inspire me, as well as the X wing, and a personal design of mine based on a story I'm writing as of now. (...)   Lego & DVD
