Hmmm... you can DO that?
I didn't know - I thought only DVDs would work on the player, not CDs. It's
a great info to me, now I have another argument when I talk my dad into
buying one!

Out of curiosity, have you tried with other instructions since? I mean, from
other sets - they may have been scanned in different resolutions, and it
would be interesting to know what kind of "readability" to expect from each
of them.
In any case, clever thinking.
