  Re: cornice

(...) Ya, John's got some good ones. If you want masonry buildings from about 1850 to about 1950 or so, you gotta have those cornices... they're a defining feature of US cities, or so it seems. Using this heretofore thought worthless part this way (...) (23 years ago, 9-Jan-02, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: cornice

(...) Since I had a few minutes, I mocked up my other cornice idea and posted some pics. (URL) like this one a lot, it seems to fit the scale I build my buildings a little better.   Re: cornice

(...) Thanks! I have another cornice in the queue that is even more amazing and uses another part that comes in abundance in a starwars set.   Re: cornice

(...) Thanks! The red parts are 2x2x2 slopes (minifig dresses). You have to drop them down one plate lower than the tie-fighter piece which will produce a slight gap along the angle but it's ignoble. The red slopes are hard to come by since they (...) (23 years ago, 9-Jan-02, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch)
