  Re: New mech: Sensei Trainer

(...) I really like the posability of this model, Adrian! You did an outstanding job on this one. I believe that only Chris Snead's Cepheus mecha has more posability, but he's using a very specialized system to get it to work. Getting that much (...)   Re: New Alpha Team Set

(...) I'd have to agree here, Mladen. The set is made based on the parts available at the time. Also, the designers need to make a recognizable model without copying an existing one. Given what they were working with, I really like the end result. I (...) (23 years ago, 21-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New Alpha Team Set

Heh... I actually like it. This is a typical LEGO robot design, so why should anyone be surprised/shocked? The more I look at the new elements, the more I like them. The new arms look really interesting, and also have Technic pegs on the joint ends. (...) (23 years ago, 21-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

This was just posted on brickshelf and it seems to be a new lego set. !!!Warning!!! Seeing this image may result in severe urges to puke, etc, etc... (...) WHAT ARE THESE IDIOTS THINKING!!! This is a mech!!?? These guys have really lost it!!!! This (...) (23 years ago, 21-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New mech: Sensei Trainer

(...) I'm not familiar with the Zelda games. I guess I'll just have to take your word for it :) I just wanted to show off the poseability of the mech. I especially like the "Come get some!" (URL) "why God, WHY??" (URL) (23 years ago, 21-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New mech: Sensei Trainer

(...) That's cool! The different poses reminds me of Majora's Reincarnation from Zelda: Majora's Mask... I like it!! :-) <<Joel>> (23 years ago, 21-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: BT1 Contest Entry: Vengeance

(...) Thanks! (...) I was hoping no one would notice that :-) A Blacktron ship just HAS to be modular, and the configuration I used last year worked very well, so I decided to reuse some of those ideas. (...) I agree - with the details I've (...) (23 years ago, 21-Dec-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

Re: Blacktron 1 Space contest (BT1)

(...) Addendum: I peg this puppy at a catagory V. I don't have a parts count but the main model is the ship. Mr Scrutinizer please use photo 'blacktrona' for the thumbnail. Thank you all, Greg~ The name of the ship is by no means an intent to sway (...) (23 years ago, 21-Dec-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

  Blacktron 1 Space contest

Hello, The item this post links to is called the Scrutinizer. It's design and mission is for long range scouting. The ship has three huge engines powering it well past the speed of ludicrous. The ship can transform into a three legged walker for (...) (23 years ago, 21-Dec-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: BT1 Contest Entry: Vengeance

(...) I really like the background info in your post. In my world, it is also true that early BT1 craft (known as Darknians) were based on the designs of earlier vehicles. It's too bad we couldn't have a catagory in the contest for the submission (...) (23 years ago, 20-Dec-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

  BT1 Contest Entry: Vengeance

The origins of the Blacktron Amada are difficult to trace. While it has been known for some time that the earliest Blacktron ships were merely modified Galaxy Explorer-class ships, it is quite a leap from that Classic Space-era technology to the (...)   Evangelion construction

Newbie alert! That's me. Lurker for a while, but I just signed up recently to post. Sadly, I lack a camera to show my work, and I took it apart anyway to retry the design, but I've just started work on a large-scale Evangelion. Mind you, I don't (...)   Strange difference in my 2 'Max Villano' minifigs (Adventurers)

  New mech: Sensei Trainer

Hey all. Ever wondered what people train on to learn how to pilot really big mechs? Well, I'm here to answer that. Presenting the Sensei Training Mech. It's big, but unarmed and unarmored. It's used to teach pilots how to handle a large mech without (...) (23 years ago, 20-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
