I really like the background info in your post. In my world, it is also
true that early BT1 craft (known as Darknians) were based on the designs of
earlier vehicles. It's too bad we couldn't have a catagory in the contest
for the submission with the coolest background or story... :)

Cool! The modular components are indeed numerous! The overhead view
showing the triangular shape reminds me of the ships in the old RPG
"Traveler". Or is it that the shape harkens to the symbol of BT1 itself ? =]
