My first Train Engine - Based from a GTW Engine GP40?

To All, I said death to sorting this weekend and started working on a train engine for MLTC (Michigan LEGO Train Club) GATS show in January.   Re: MS-06 Zaku Production at the Foundry

(...) Your excellent Zakus look right at home in this environment. "K" PS (You should require that all your workers be clean shaven, unlike those scruffy "grounds crew" guys who used to mow the grass and trim the shrubbery at the rebel jungle base, (...)   Re: New Mecha, The Rf-79 Tiger

(...) Thanks Borislav! (...) thankyou kindly, :-) I however don't quite understand the idea behind (...) I dunno, I was just trying to be different, I like them, I think it's a neat idea. It allows for more detail than just detail on the surface. (...) (23 years ago, 3-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New MOC: "Loiterer" Anti-Tank/Mecha Helicopter"

Nice! Lots of great detail. I don't think the canopy looks out of place at all, but if you replaced the blue canopy with a clear transparent one (if you have one) I think it would work a lot better with the colour scheme. I really like the cannons (...) (23 years ago, 3-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: New MOC: "Loiterer" Anti-Tank/Mecha Helicopter"

(...) I really like the landing gear. Nice and simple. Do you have a problem with them not holding up the weight very well? If not, I'll have to borrow the design for future reference... (...) -Duane (23 years ago, 3-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: model ownership (Re: 2nd Annual Space Building Contest)

Post to lugnet.space and lugnet.build.contest. If you have your entry is CAD then you still post about it and send a copy of the DAT to thescrutinizer@rogers.com [1] If your entry is real brick, you can choose to mail it to me, but all that will do (...) (...) Sounds good to me. (...) Lucky you! It's only thee hours ago that it came to me, that I have no Eva models and hardly any pictures of Evas on my computer! (...)   Re: My new work "M4A1 Sherman"

Hello Shaun! (...) Since I also liked the arms of WW2 better than present-day arms, I was impressed very much by your works. My most favorite German plane was Stuka, I was surprised at the height of the completeness. And BMW, 88mmGUN, (...) (23 years ago, 3-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.military)

Evangelion - was: MS-06 Zaku Production at the Foundry

(...) Really you're working on one too? This is awesome, we'll probably have to compare notes at some time. :) I was talking to Chris Snead last week and Evangelion came up in our converstation.   Re: New Mecha, The Rf-79 Tiger

(...) I love the idea to have an internal frame for a mech so relatively small. I also love the missile rack and the whole thing reminds me of a Neo-Zion mobile suit that I have seen somewhere. The colors of the model are simply great and the thing (...) (23 years ago, 3-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New MOC: "Loiterer" Anti-Tank/Mecha Helicopter"

(...) Thank you Kirby! I'm glad you like it. (...) Actually, now that I remember, Tim Courtney used them on his [1] Harrier LEGO model.   Re: MS-06 Zaku Production at the Foundry

Re: New MOC: "Loiterer" Anti-Tank/Mecha Helicopter"

I don't reply very often to people's MOCs these days because I find it difficult to say something different everytime I like something and I really hate telling people I don't like their work. But in this case, I've got somthing to say. I like this. (...) (23 years ago, 3-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: New Mecha, The Rf-79 Tiger

(...) I like the whole removable armor option very much. It's just a great bit of extra detail to add. I've tried to do that on my mechs but not as elegantly as you have done on the tiger. I guess I'll have to play with it some more. One question (...) (23 years ago, 2-Dec-01, to lugnet.build.mecha)
