Having just returned from vacation in Egypt, combined with the availability of bulk tan bricks, I thinking about building a minifig scale model of the Giza plateau. Does anyone know all the different sizes of the Technic “ball and axle” parts seen in the Star Wars Technic “Stormtrooper” and “C3PO”? I am making some “home made” versions of these parts and I need to know the different lengths of the axles. Also, (...) Eric, I can't tell you enough about how awesome Chris' mecha is! All the joints "click" into place like a big 360 degree click hing. It's like a big toy. (...) Thank you for your comments. (...) You are absolutely right, the neck joint is a simple 4x4 studs turntable which in theory was supposed to be wide enough. Hello again folks, I have finally completed the web page for my latest Technic creation, a radio controlled Technic figure scale 8x4 truck with a hook lift system which allows the tipping and loading/unloading of skips (dumpsters). The use of the compass is pretty neat. :^) Judging from the silhouette in the picture, I'd say your Gundam needs a bit more armor around the neck joint, but maybe you just haven't gotten to it yet. (...) Thanks :) (...) The pneumatic pressure is the actuator that lifts the gun. The motor only serves to run one air cylinder as an air compressor. Congratulations Shaun to another fantastic mastermodel. Fascinating that the gun is motorised also. Do you use the pneumatic pressure as a counterweight for the gun barrel. I've been looking at klapaucius' (sp?) gundam models (obscenely impressive, I must say.) and a thought struck me. has anybody tried using technic 32166 pieces (the throwbot gearbox pieces) to build joints for large scale mecha? it seems to me that (...) Hello all, I just finished updating my website, adding over 75 (yes, 75!) character biographies, as well as adding a structures page, which, while very thin at the moment, will soon showcase all my major structures in great detail. That's a terrific looking model. I love the realism and interior detail. We're working on building a lego robot for an engineering class using an online compiler version 1.7 We can't figure out how to get our sensors to work. Neither touch nor light seems to be working. We're writing the code in C and not sure which (...) (24 years ago, 25-Apr-01, to lugnet.build)

This is the Bowzer. Armed with a PUG (Plasma Utilization Gear) Cannon which fires SSSPS's (Surface-to-Surface Solid Plasma Sphere) it can desscimate targets up to 125k away.
