Re: Sea Monkey Attack Vehicle - the Attack Crab —Adrian Drake
Ahahahah! That's great! I love the use of the solid colored LOM canopies as claws. That's inspired. It makes me want to build something new before BricksWest. But then, I don't think that's going to happen, I'm too busy being addicted to Morrowind. (...) (21 years ago, 6-Feb-03, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Sea Monkey Attack Vehicle - the Attack Crab —Joe Meno
(...) Thanks! The claws were inventions of frustration, as I couldn't figure out how to do the claws initially, until I saw the Excavation Searcher box... (...)          Re: Sea Monkey Attack Vehicle - the Attack Crab —Joe Meno
(...) Thanks! The AttackCrab is certainly the most unusual looking MOC I've done, and it started when I was playing with the quarter shells...which made the main body. The legs and tail came in much later, with more than a couple of revisions on the (...) (21 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Sea Monkey Attack Vehicle - the Attack Crab —Chris Giddens
JOE! Dude you rock. Now for the conspiracy that must be investigated... if one were to peel off the tan paint on this crab... would one find it to be... TRANS NEON GREEN???? Could this be a....         Re: Sea Monkey Attack Vehicle - the Attack Crab —James Harkness
(...) That is pretty cool Joe. It has a very close resemblance to the leviathan(spelling?) in atlantis my fav disney movie. Is that were you got your inspiration for it? -Semaj (URL) (21 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Sea Monkey Attack Vehicle - the Attack Crab —Joe Meno
(...) Yep, that was part of my inspiration... that and the initial shape was the two shell parts implied the crab look.         Re: Sea Monkey Attack Vehicle - the Attack Crab —Soren Roberts
Looks like I need to tune my Landmates and gear up for war. Damn Sea Monkeys! Excellent mecha, love the tail and claws. Take care, Soren (21 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Sea Monkey Attack Vehicle - the Attack Crab —Joe Meno
(...) Hey, Alpha Team needs YOU! The Landmates would be great mecha against the AttackCrab, if the Landmates attacked en masse! And on the land, the Landmates have an advantage-they're small and quick. Joe Meno PS. Your landmates look really cool! (21 years ago, 10-Feb-03, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Sea Monkey Attack Vehicle - the Attack Crab —Felix Greco
(...) Ay Dios Mio! Joe, I don't even know where to begin. Not only is the model cool in general, but you've managed to capture the theme excellently.         Re: Sea Monkey Attack Vehicle - the Attack Crab —Joe Meno
(...) Thanks! Once the legs came to be (I originally wasn't going to use legs), the whole model came together!
