Hi all, Here's my entry in the contest. It's a garbage truck used for plucking defunct satellites and other space debris from orbit. (URL) It's a bit derivative, being part (URL) garbage ship, part Chris Giddens' PCS, and just a little bit Pete's (...) (...) Allister, this is an excellent MOC and a wonderful contest entry. Aside from the clean and straightforward design and colour scheme, what strikes me the most about this model are it's anthropomorphic qualities. You made it seem as though the (...) (...) I think this thing is great. I don't like the colors, though intellectually, they seem right, it just doesn't work in my mind, maybe it's because all the garbage trucks around here are dark green. Anyways, this seems to be a really well (...) (21 years ago, 22-May-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) That's cool. I agree with Mladen - I really like how it feeds itself then sends it on out the other end. The container by itself is pretty cool too, I really like the look of it. Nifty detailing, my only quibble would be that there's a few too (...) (21 years ago, 22-May-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Allister this ship is great! I have no problem with the color scheme, very spacey indeed, very neat. And so much playability! I guess any kid would go with thumbs up for this MOC. Great level of details, greebles on the "back spin" of the ship. The (...) (21 years ago, 24-May-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Thanks Jean-Pascal. Playability is becoming more popular in .space these days. I don't always aim for that myself, but the boy appreciates it when I do, and it helps when the model pleases me aesthetically as well. In lugnet.space, Michael (...) (20 years ago, 24-May-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Nice ship. I like how you curved the module's rear like the contemporary version. Colour scheme looks more Winnebago than garbage truck to me, though. But then, what IS a garbage truck colour scheme? Cheers, (URL) Sci-Fi LEGO> (20 years ago, 24-May-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) Has me laughing and has me gaping at the same time....too cool, Allister. It's like Hungry, Hungry Hippos....only waaaay cooler. The disproportionately large bin on the back jacks up the scifi quotient, but the cab construction easily ties it (...) (20 years ago, 26-May-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
