Re: MOC 1966 Chevelle —George Haberberger
(...) Wow! I wish I could put something like this together, but who really wants to see a rusty 13 year old Subaru station wagon. Nice work. George (23 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

Re: MOC 1966 Chevelle —Larry Pieniazek
(...) I think this rocks. Rocks Hard. Brings back memories of my 67 Impala... 2 door coupe, tiny mag wheels (it was "low" although I didn't know what low riders were) 2 speed slush box tranny, tiny steering wheel, fuzzy dice and all that I caused a (...)         Re: MOC 1966 Chevelle —James Jackson
(...) steering (...) What can I say? I'm amazed. I'm a fan of other classics, such as the 1969 Dodge Charger (R/T) and 1964 Impala SS. You should keep that model up and display it at an auto show. I'm sure that people would get a real charge out of (...) (23 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.org.us.michlug)

Re: MOC 1966 Chevelle —Larry Pieniazek
(...) Yep. The cash difference between 5000 USD for a reasonably good example of mid 60's muscle and 50,000 USD for a reasonably good example of a mid 60's eurosupercar (and I am being optimistic) will buy you a heck of a lot of gasoline... So ya. (...) (23 years ago, 29-Mar-01, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: MOC 1966 Chevelle —Frank Filz
(...) Hehe. Once back many years ago, I looked up to see if tanks got miles per gallon or gallons per mile. I forget which tank I actually looked up, but it still got miles per gallon, but just barely... :-) (23 years ago, 30-Mar-01, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: MOC 1966 Chevelle —John D. Forinash
(...) People joke that way about the cars I've owned, a 1970 Olds Cutlass, a 1981 Chevrolet Suburban, a 1970 Plymouth Fury, a 1999 Dodge Dakota R/T, and a 1969 Dodge Coronet. Hey, they think it's amusing. Me, I know that except in one case, I had (...) (23 years ago, 30-Mar-01, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: MOC 1966 Chevelle —Larry Pieniazek
(...) I think it must have been a small tank. :-) (and therefore one that wouldn't do well in a wreck with a bigger tank, but I digress) IIRC, an M1A1 gets about 3 gallons (of Jet A to run its turbines, I think it is) per mile... ++Lar (who drives a (...)
