All of those minifigs —Toki Barron
What do you all do with the Adventurers minifigs you accumulate after buying a few sets? I find the models to be fairly interesting (mainly the Egyptian theme), and buy the sets based on the models. However, I now have a bunch of minifigs that I (...)         Re: All of those minifigs —Markus Wolf
(...) My minifigs never/rarely stay in their original state. I switch heads and hats to give my Lego community different personalities. For instance, the baddie from "Spider's Secret" had a white hat that I thought would be more appropriate for my (...) (24 years ago, 23-Feb-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

Re: All of those minifigs —Jeff Johnston
(...) In my case, try (and thus far fail) to trade them. ;/ (...) I know what you mean! My primary interest is Castle, and most of the Adventurers heads work out OK for that. Dr. Lightning's head has been transformed into the Mad Mage Cornelius (...) (24 years ago, 23-Feb-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

Re: All of those minifigs —Tom Napolitano
I was wondering what to do with all those Johnny Thunders.. then I rented the movie " The Light Horsemen" and now I have a platoon of Aussie soldiers. (24 years ago, 27-Feb-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

Re: All of those minifigs —Paul Ferguson
(...) Hey, that was my plan! Guess I'll have to fall back on my plan to creat lancers with red ninjas wearing pith helmets and commanded by the Baron. Of course, with feathers added both the Johnny Thunder and Rudo Villano hats are also good for (...) (24 years ago, 27-Feb-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

cross-posted to .build.minifigs and .castle (...) I'm a castle person too... (...) I have 5 Johnny T faces so I decided to use them as smug knights.        (...) [ahem] . . . WIZARDS!!! :-) (...) No, actually, IIRC (from *reading* about it, not from firsthand experience) :-P spectacles were invented in the Late Dark Ages/Early Rennaisance.           Re: All of those [adventurer] minifigs —Leah Cardaci
(...) For castle, I have used the Dr. Kilroy head with a majisto torso and a black peasant hood as a member of a group of scholars called the sages. The Baron's head made a good Wolfpack Ranger. (24 years ago, 6-Mar-00, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.castle)

About the sages (was Re: All of those [adventurer] minifigs) —Leah Cardaci
(...) Story? Yes. The sages are a very old group that travel the kingdom of Auren searching for artifacts and information. Several have "posts" in places of general inerest, and it's a well known fact that a sage will quickly apear when anything (...)           Re: About the sages (was Re: All of those [adventurer] minifigs) —Shiri Dori
(...) Well, I didn't count how many lines - but I have lots and lots of backstory notes in my head... Just waiting to materialize into a narrative, like yours.           Re: About the sages (was Re: All of those [adventurer] minifigs) —Leah Cardaci
(...) Hey, what a wonderfull idea! I hadn't actually thought about the Sages that way, they were just another group of characters interacting in Auren. I've been wondering what would be the best way to introduce certain important historical facts. (...) (24 years ago, 7-Mar-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: All of those minifigs —Paul Davidson
The adventure minifigs, broken into composite pieces, are great for other things. I love the pith helmets for all types of period military and exploration uses.         Re: All of those minifigs —Tommy Benton
(...) Well, a good idea is to customize them. You can make some really neat people when you customize (see "Craig-Lego" site). Also you can switch bodies and heads.
