Thanks for the props Joseph. And yes Verne did write "Journey to the Center
of the Earth". I know this is a real stretch for this theme, but didn't Verne
also write a story about a circa 1900 mission to the moon? Maybe it was
Doyle...I am not sure. Does anybody know? I bet Bruce does.

| (...) "Journey (...) What? Because I was alive when they wrote...?!? ;-) From Earth to the Moon. I don't know when the story takes place, but I believe it was written around 1870, possibly earlier. The only Verne book I have is Mysterious Island, (...) (25 years ago, 20-Oct-99, to lugnet.adventurers)
