(...) I have a great deal of them too, but I would not sell them. I have to have some vegetation, even if it is a *palm tree*. :) Scott S. (26 years ago, 11-Jan-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.pirates, lugnet.adventurers)

Re: Palm Trees: old segmented vs. new one piece

(...) My two 5938's came directly from Legoland ($3 each there) and they have the classic segmented palm tree. Somehow, I have yet to get the one piece trunk.   2995 and 2996 from Shop-at-Home

I just got a 5900 from Shop-at-Home. It turned out to be produced in Europe. It just has a label added across the front warning about the choking hazard. See (URL) pictures.   Palm Trees: old segmented vs. new one piece

I was looking at a small Adventurers Egyptian set#5938 marked down to $5 at local Wal-Marts and I was wondering if the older segmented palm trees are officially discontinued and if therefore all of the new sets come with the new "OnePiecePalmTree."
