  Re: 3055 set

(...) The 3055 was part of a promotion campaign in UK from Kellogg's Cornflakes in 1998. The campaign included the three sets 3054, 3055 and 3056. The 3055 should still be available from Kellogg's Cornflakes in UK until December 1999. Getting this (...) (26 years ago, 7-Oct-99, to lugnet.adventurers)

  3055 set

Does anybody out there know of anyone selling, trading, or even mentioning set 3055? It is a small Adventurers themed car with Johnny Thunder and was given out as a promo for Kelloggs cereals in the U.K. If anyone can help me in this matter it would (...)   4x2ReVu: 5956 Expedition Balloon

Re: Pontoon Plane vs. Biwing Baron (Re: My favorite Adventurer sets)

(...) Well, the P-38 Lightning from WWII was a twin engine single seat plane, so the concept isn't that far out there. Of course, that doesn't mean that the set isn't still undersized, but there is precedent. Adrian (URL) (26 years ago, 4-Oct-99, to lugnet.adventurers)

Re: Pontoon Plane vs. Biwing Baron (Re: My favorite Adventurer sets)

(...) Remove the pilot from the PP. Does it look better without the pilot? To me, pantoon plane is seriously undersized. Two engines just for a single-seat plane? The PP is a single seater, only for the same reason that all the semi rigs in Town are (...) (26 years ago, 4-Oct-99, to lugnet.adventurers)

(...) Nope, the normal price for 5978 is $49.99. Hi all, I came across a few sets of Adventures #5978 at Target the other day that were $27.00. That wasn't their normal price was it? And they weren't on sale either. It has over 300 pieces in it!
