300 Years Before: Desert Landscape II

Hello@all, some of you were wondering why Zafar is a _black_ building in a hot environment. I built the answer this weekend. Once you followed the link, you maybe hear music. You can turn it off by clicking the troll who puts a banana into the (...) (22 years ago, 2-Jul-02, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.build, lugnet.announce.moc) !!

  MOC: Desert Landscape

Hello@all, today I took myself time to finish my desert landscape and the outcome can be seen here: (URL) there's no english text for each picture, here are the descriptions: 1) Zafar, the desert fortress, early in the morning. 2) The dignitary's (...)   Re: Walls of Zanzibar

Elegantly simple and totally on the mark. I hope you don't mind someone borrowing your design. Although getting those 1x4 tiles will be difficult, I would like to build a whole desert port city along those lines. This would be great for pirate wars (...)   Curse of the Pharaoh

Hi Folks, I think the following new released sets of Lego Studios in S@H are very good supplement to our Adventurers Egyptian sub-theme, especially 1383 which includes a new mummy minifig! Werewolf Ambush (1380) Vampire's Crypt (1381) Scary (...) (22 years ago, 21-Jun-02, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Walls of Zanzibar

Gary, This is one of the most beautiful MOC's I have seen in a long time. Unique, yet recognizable and simply built. Along with the tan/white scheme, I really like the lt. grey/dk. grey alternating plates in the wall. Your awnings are seconded only (...)   Walls of Zanzibar

Hi, I'm not much of a castle guy, but I was messing around with some ideas and put the following together: (URL) thought of this color scheme because all tan looked really boring, and this had a nice look to it. Also take note of the balcony and (...) (22 years ago, 19-Jun-02, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.adventurers) !!

  Re: See Me

Here are two hilarious pictures of me dressed up as an Adventurer, on a Oriental-theme costume party. It made me feel like a giant minifig (restricted mobility in the upper body region), but to my pleasure I've won the prize for the most original (...)   Re: Monthly MOC: Orange racer

I have fixed the error - thank you for letting me know. Unfortunately I have taken the Arab house apart. I simply doesn't have neither the space nor the bricks to leave building intact. And I don't think that I more photos of it. Must look through (...) (23 years ago, 15-Jan-02, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Monthly MOC: Orange racer

(...) I've enjoyed perusing your site, but you have a link error, under vessels, the picture leads to the hangar not the raft. I did find the raft since you use such clever file names... :-) Could you post some more pictures of the Arab house? Frank (23 years ago, 12-Jan-02, to lugnet.adventurers)

Re: Monthly MOC: Milk delivery van

(...) you could just step in and out, and the tray (for carrying the milk... it was a flat tray rather than a refrigerated cargo compartment) was smaller but ya, a lot like that indeed. (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.adventurers)

(...) Are you thinking of the piece used at the rear of 4920 Rapid Rider? Nope, but I like the idea - clever thinking I might add. Now I know what to do tonight! Christian (23 years ago, 10-Jan-02, to lugnet.adventurers)
