Re: Monthly MOC: Rolls Royce 10hp from 1904

(...) Very nice! I'm particularly impressed by your blueprint pages. You have done a very good job of matching the style of LEGO instruction booklets. - Robert (23 years ago, 28-Jun-01, to lugnet.adventurers)

Re: Monthly MOC: Rolls Royce 10hp from 1904

(...) Christian, Once again am I amazed at your ability to capture the nuances of an antique car in such a small scale. George (23 years ago, 28-Jun-01, to lugnet.adventurers)

Monthly MOC: Rolls Royce 10hp from 1904

As promised last month it wouldn't be a racer this time. Instead it's a model of the first Rolls Royce from 1904. Please visit (URL) let me know what you think. Christian (23 years ago, 28-Jun-01, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.build, lugnet.general, lugnet.announce) !

  Re: Is this newsgroup dead?

Well, maybe. I usually check it out and read what's going on here. But I cannot find any good adventurers sets at my stores. Mostly looking for the dessert versions, especially vehicles. (...) (23 years ago, 25-Jun-01, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Is this newsgroup dead?

Am I the only one who posts here anymore? (23 years ago, 25-Jun-01, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Lego dream...

I had another lego dream a few nights ago. My dreams sometimes come true, or at least partly, and sometimes it takes 3-5 years. Well, anyway, My dream... I went into a toy store, only to find all new LEGO sets! The first thing I saw was a small (...) (23 years ago, 24-Jun-01, to lugnet.underground, lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Card Game

Can someone scan the cards (if it's legal) in the July 2000 issue of Adventures Magizine. If it's not legal, how come no one complained when the bionicle card game was scanned? NICK (23 years ago, 24-Jun-01, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Outhouse in Lego Island 2?

In Lego Island 2 (for PC), after you free the dinos from Mr. Hates camp, you can go into the jungle village. Next to the tent, there's a small hut. Is it just me, or is that a toilet in it? Hey, no matter what hemisphere you're in, you need a (...) (23 years ago, 22-Jun-01, to lugnet.games.lego.island, lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.castle)

  Re: ATLANTIS!

I haven't started any MOC's yet, but there's a great book out that details characters and vehicles (not quite as detailed as the DK Star Wars books)I think I might pick that up to 'jog' my memory. Let us know when you have photos.. even partial (...) (23 years ago, 19-Jun-01, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.underground, lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.ancient)

  Re: ATLANTIS!

(...) Hey Nick, just saw the movie, didn't you? (Me too, just got back-good stuff-different, in a good way) I have an Aktitrak (the hammerhead-shark looking Atlantean vehicle) 75% finished (but it's been that way for weeks!). I have Moliere's digger (...) (23 years ago, 17-Jun-01, to lugnet.aquazone, lugnet.underground, lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.ancient)

  ATLANTIS!

Anyone made any MOCs from the movie Atlantis? The mining vehicles are Rock Raiders meets Adventurers (two of my favorite themes), and the Atlantian ships are Aquazone meets Tunafish (one of my favorite themes and one of least favorite cracker (...)   Re: Nimbus Airship

(...) Thanks! It wouldn't be steampunk/gaslamp fantasy without lots of buttons and switches. The top piece, while it looks like some kind of ray gun, didn't really have any purpose until you asked. It turns out it's a long range, x-ray telescope. (...) (23 years ago, 13-Jun-01, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Nimbus Airship

(...) That looks like quite the air-going vessel. What fun! (...) Oh I say, Lord Corneius looks a bit familiar... could this be the dashing ancestor of Reginald Smythe of the Screamin' Balrogs? Egad! ~Grand Admiral Muffin Head (23 years ago, 13-Jun-01, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Nimbus Airship

Sean, that's pretty darn groovy. I like the interior detail. So many dials, switches and knobs... oh my. I really like the gears in back. And what's that on top? Is that some kind of weapon? I've been struggling with the zepplin-esqe idea for too (...) (23 years ago, 13-Jun-01, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Nimbus Airship

Well, after a bit of a dry spell last month, I've actually finished something. (URL) call it the Nimbus. It's a steam-powered, heavier-than-air ship inspired by The Secret Adventures of Jules Verne and The Works, a card game based on the Girl Genius (...)   Re: Gabarros vs. Villano: Who's Who?

(...) Sean - thanks for the confirmation. Now I can eliminate my self-doubt about Who's Who. I also appreciate being point to the website with Adventurers mini-fig profiles. I don't think I had seen that one before. The site also helped confirm for (...) (23 years ago, 7-Jun-01, to lugnet.adventurers)

Re: Gabarros vs. Villano: Who's Who?

Hey G, Your initial thoughts are correct, Gabarros is the sailor, while Vilano is the one with the pistolas and scar on his face. At least according to Chrisitan's site. (URL) who's going to argue with such a well developed site? :) Sean (...) (23 years ago, 7-Jun-01, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Gabarros vs. Villano: Who's Who?

Can anyone settle the question I have about 2 of the Adventurer mini-figs that seem to get mixed up quite a bit in "conversations" here on LUGNET. The question is which mini-fig is Gabarros and which is Rudo (Max) Villano? I think that Villano is (...) (23 years ago, 7-Jun-01, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.general, lugnet.western)

  Re: Monthly MOC: Orange racer

(...) Those are fun! I liked all of them, and the orange one is my fav. They reminded me of the old movie "It's A Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World". -Tom McD. www.spamcake.com (23 years ago, 30-May-01, to lugnet.adventurers)
