  Dinosaur Island vehicles

At $49.99, 5975 T-Rex Transport is a bit too expensive. Otherwise it is a cool vehicle set that keeps the tradition of the Adventurers theme. I like the tractor-trailer. The color scheme of its triceratops looks a lot nicer, too. 5935 Island Hopper (...) (24 years ago, 17-Jul-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Island Hopper

(...) Let's see what else it leaves, bedsides the ones you put: the little thing with blue wheels(5309), the plane and car in the big set, the semi, car, and ship in the t-rex transport, and the research glider. You seem to have forgot quite a few. (...) (24 years ago, 17-Jul-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Island Hopper

(...) I'd say that in comparison to the Egyptian subtheme, it doesn't have as many good vehicles. Even the vehicles included in the med-big sets were good. Not a bad one in the bunch. Jon (24 years ago, 17-Jul-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Island Hopper

Funny, I just purchased the Island Hopper also. Should be getting here today. I was attracted towards it because it'll go good with regular town sets if you remove the pterodactl. It *looks* pretty big also, esp. for only $20. (expensive, but IMO, (...) (24 years ago, 17-Jul-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Island Hopper

(...) What does that leave? The All Terrain Trapper and that odd little helicopter thing? I wouldn't say that it didn't turn out that many good vehicles unless there are more bad than good :) (24 years ago, 17-Jul-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

(...) Heh heh. C'mon, Jon, how can you hate Sam Sinister? eric (24 years ago, 17-Jul-00, to lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Indiana Jones

I haven't been lurking in .adventurers for very long but as an idea: Johnny Thunder body, hat etc. + Han Solo head = Indiana Jones Just a comment Tim (24 years ago, 17-Jul-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Island Hopper

I just bought the new Dino Island Island Hopper Airplane and it is a very good set. The outside looks really good but you have to hollow out a wall or two on the inside so that people can sit tandem. The folding wings are a good touch too. It is (...) (24 years ago, 17-Jul-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Head Hunting

I'm sure that we all have a good use for the double and triple amounts of leftover adv. heads in other themes, but I think the issue is that they are so specific that you can only use 1 head per theme. Mr. Thunder's face is so detailed, his head (...) (24 years ago, 16-Jul-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Adventurers Minifigs

(...) Well, let see.... I've put adventurers heads on other torsos, and this is what I have:: JT as a pirate,as captian of the Impereil Flag ship, as a solder in wild west, as a space man for space, as a rober, and as a ninja. GS as a pirate. HC as (...) (24 years ago, 16-Jul-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Adventurers Minifigs

In lugnet.adventurers, Mikohl Moree writes: <mother of all snips> Yeah, I do that too. Though I only have three Adventurers minifigs, and two of them are Gail Storm, I find that the faces are extremely versatile. Gail is an officer in my Blacktron (...)   Adventurers Minifigs

Hello Everyone! I was reading a few posts earlier about how difficult it is to mix and match Adventurers figures with other minifig parts and still recieve a cool looking character. I know how complicated this can be, but it can be done! If you are (...) (24 years ago, 15-Jul-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Re: Adventurers Theme Structure

I think you are right the adventurers are a completly different structured theme. Perhaps they will be the first theme to be different in that they won't be discontinued after three or four sub-themes. I think that next they should go on African (...)   Mummy knows best.

Hey, I was wondering if anyone else has tried this. The white ninja princess' hood, and the ghost's body with the black head and white legs make's one heck of an Egyptian Mummy! If you've got your own adventurer ideas let me know, I'm running on (...) (24 years ago, 14-Jul-00, to lugnet.adventurers)

  Adventurers Theme Structure

I dont know if this has been brought up before but has anyone else noticed how the adventurers theme is different from most of the other themes? take for example the pirates: pirates were released with an enemy and both had there own logo (...) (24 years ago, 14-Jul-00, to lugnet.adventurers)
