I move to form a new organization (not led by myself), that consists of members (if you aren't a member of LUGNET, what's the holdup?) of the LUGNET community. The association would govern the majority of the members needs, desires, problems, (...) (21 years ago, 21-Apr-05, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.admin.suggestions) !

You have an excellent point there. The off topic groups are an elegant solution to threads that wander away from Lego. What I find disappointing are threads that begin and end in .debate like this recent one: (URL)* And the fact that .debate alone (...) (...) How's about this: Instead of a 10 item list of spotlighted threads, why not two 5 (or however many) item lists? One of spotlighted MOCs, and the other spotlighted non-MOC topics. Suggestion: In addition to "Spotlight", provide an "Agree" rank (other potential candidates include "Cool", "Informative", "Funny") for members to rate posts on. (...) Very good points here. Lugnet has much greater functionality built in than is routinely used. In part this is due to user inaction, but in part this is also due (IMO) to the invisibilty of the functionality. For instance, there is no easy way (...) (21 years ago, 13-Apr-05, to lugnet.admin.suggestions, FTX) !
