No. When I first emailed you I couldn't define the problem, so

The former.

A single space will cause the problem. More than one have
the same effect.

That's when I was first trying to isolate the problem.
I had no luck. (In review, there were no leading spaces
in the message I was trying to post at that time. I
can email you the text file for the message for you to
look at.)
More recently, look about before this message got posted:

This was the first time I had a message that wouldn't
post that I eventually got to post successfully. It
was fixed by removing the leading spaces I had in
the numbered list.
There's been other times, but since I never got the messages
to post, I don't know how to find out when they were.
