Solution seems easy to me. Don't use the product. I think this is an
example of a product that's not easy to use for this application.

Please note: I use Netscape Communicator. I got lucky, usually after
two-three head bashes I can get it to work with lugnet. But it's a
product that's not really intended to be a newsreader.. NS beat on it
till it works as one. But NS is hungrier than MS.

MS has taken a hammer and tried to turn it into a screwdriver. Sometimes
that works. Sometimes it doesn't.

Just my opinion, and not that of CTP, please note.

I'm not intending to say that OE is a good news reader (I prefer using NS,
too, at least at my home) but I'm using it at job for luget w/o any
difficulty. The great number seen here in the statistics may have been
caused by its very widespread use, since every w95/98 user has virtually a
copy of it.

Maybe Todd would also post another statistical data showing the news reader
sw shares in total successful postings...:-)
