Here's an interesting problem... I would like to add a group to the skip-filter, but to do so would take me over the pre-defined character limit for the text box (I think that's what's happening... at least, I type, and the field stops accepting (...) (23 years ago, 15-May-01, to lugnet.admin.general)

I have a question for you and I believe that this is more appropriate than admin.terms but not completely sure about it. I've seen in the past week or so a couple of people posting auction notices in buy.sell.trade (one mentions ebay in the title, (...) (23 years ago, 14-May-01, to lugnet.admin.general)

Well, then, I'm sorry to have stirred things up. Few things get my dander up faster than phone solicitors and email spam from private parties. Todd, my server won't let me send normal mail to you, so I'm sorry I have to ask this way. My system crashed and my settings are all messed up, and some data was lost. I see a lot of posts with long lines. Typically around 75-80. The problem with these is that when people quote them, they become even longer, and eventually they are broken by some clients. A common rule on USENET is to keep the line length below 72 (...) (23 years ago, 4-May-01, to lugnet.admin.general)
