Payment gone awry? Attn: Todd & Suz

Just got an automated message saying where the heck is my membership fee. PayPal shows my payment to Lugnet on March 29th. Lemme know. Bruce (24 years ago, 15-Apr-01, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: How do I change my Lugnet e-mail address

(...) All you need to do is fill out the news-posting setup form with your new address: (URL) you can post from that address. -- Todd S. Lehman | LUGNET Admin <todd@lugnet.com> (24 years ago, 14-Apr-01, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: Hit Counters?

(...) uhhh... Brickshelf gallery is not part of Lugnet - it's part of Brickshelf, which is run by Kevin Loch. If you want to post it here someplace where he can see it, I'd try in lugnet.publish, or just write to him personally :) :) FUT (...)   Hit Counters?

Hi Todd/Sue et als.... I had a request and a question, Would it be possible although troublesome to ask if it were possbilbe to add "Hit counters" to the individual folders in the Brickshelf Gallery? I could only imagine how tough this might be to (...) (24 years ago, 14-Apr-01, to lugnet.admin.general)

How do I change my Lugnet e-mail address

I have changed my e-mail address and wish to have the change be reflected when I post to Lugnet. I contacted Todd a while ago to request the information change, but it has not been done yet. Is there a way for me do make the change myself? Thanks (...) (24 years ago, 13-Apr-01, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Need to retrieve my password... Help!

(...) Just don't go there. If you really must, there are some pretty involved threads on this topic. I'll say this, if you think it's tight now, you should have seen it before the password restrictions were loosened up. ++Lar (24 years ago, 13-Apr-01, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Need to retrieve my password... Help!

Larry, Thanks! Actually looks like the LUGNET gods heard my prayer and I got an automated response telling me how to change my password. Which, by the way, is "juniorization." Just kidding, of course. But the odd thing about the password feature is (...) (24 years ago, 13-Apr-01, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Need to retrieve my password... Help!

(...) To you as well, if you forget your key, eh? I'm not sure it's clear how forgetful I actually am yet. :-) ++Lar (who doesn't have a pgp keyset despite being a libertarian) (24 years ago, 13-Apr-01, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Need to retrieve my password... Help!

(...) heh, that's why you take that one text file, and pgp (or gpg) encrypt it - that way, unless a keyboard sniffer is installed on your box, the file is useless :) (24 years ago, 13-Apr-01, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Need to retrieve my password... Help!

(...) (this assumes that you are comfortable with a level of security that means that if your PC were stolen or broken into, that some random can be logged on to LUGNET as you, which currently allows them to see your set DB, rate sets, change your (...)   Re: Need to retrieve my password... Help!

(...) I don't believe there is a way to "retrieve" your password. Even Todd doesn't know what a user password, in general, is. I don't know if he keeps records of the initial passwords but I would be surprised. I am almost certain he does not keep (...) (24 years ago, 13-Apr-01, to lugnet.people, lugnet.admin.general)

Can/should Creator™ be added under Basic?

I'm referring to where discussions of Creator™ should be posted to. I think Creator™ should be added to the themes listed, (Basic™, Classic™, and FreeStyle™) (URL) demanding it or anything, just mentioning it :) Thanks! Julie (24 years ago, 11-Apr-01, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: Robert: Just another Troll

(...) Good point. It is worth another try, anyway. But if he keeps coming back and coming back, revisiting the "just ignore it" decision may be appropriate. ++Lar (24 years ago, 9-Apr-01, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Mad Hatter is (literally) here

(...) Mad Hatter? Wow!.. Where have you been? We missed you so much (eeghk!..) By the way, haven't you already been kicked from here last time you around? Selçuk (24 years ago, 9-Apr-01, to lugnet.off-topic.debate, lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: Robert: Just another Troll

(...) Question is, to what end? Aren't we a buch of goofs who sit in uncomfortable positions with brightly colored plastic bricks arranged around us and little people with happy, yellow faces (the toys, not us!)? I don't understand the point of his (...) (24 years ago, 8-Apr-01, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: Robert: Just another Troll

(...) Odd, really, that some folk have so much time on their hands to pretend they are clever. Most of that type are busy doing something worthwhile (they think) or they are in cell block "A". Wee!! The way I read the above is that Robert just earned himself (...) (24 years ago, 8-Apr-01, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: Robert: Just another Troll
