(this assumes that you are comfortable with a level of security that means
that if your PC were stolen or broken into, that some random can be logged
on to LUGNET as you, which currently allows them to see your set DB, rate
sets, change your user info, change passwords, and some other things, with
more coming down the pike)
Note that currently password protection does not protect you from someone
posing as you in a post.... this post, for example:
http://news.lugnet.com/admin/general/?n=9111
was not posted by me even though the headers seem to indicate it was.
But spoofed posts don't do as much harm to you personally as destruction of
your personal data might.
