  Re: new stuff for 2001

To All, (...) I am not saying that these sets can'tbe legitimate, but I did see the Jurassic Park ones from the toy show, I am just very cautious on the eve of April Fools, especially after the train one last year, and the fact that the cons seem to (...)   Re: new stuff for 2001

To All, Well, I have no clue where this post is going, so anyway, fun is good enough for now. (...) Who knows / cares / anymore. Sheesh. (...) I just threw that out because I saw it was in trains. If it is really in development, cool. If not, oh (...) (23 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: new stuff for 2001

(...) Huh... Weren't there pictures posted to brickshelf a few months ago of these same dinos that were required to be taken down because they were in violation or something? Having had a chance to see them before they were removed, these look the (...) (23 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: new stuff for 2001

(...) That set was (apparently) posted to Brickset!!! Yikes. Is there no institution safe? Huw - Huw more - Humour ... say, maybe not safe after all. I mean, it would be pretty Low to spoof us that way, don't you think? As far as new Amtrak sets? (...) (23 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: new stuff for 2001

(...) That was my point, there's no sense in getting excited about new sets around April 1 anymore (hmm, this is actually a case where it would be more exciting for a TLC employee to make an official announcement instead of a fan, you could believe (...)   Re: new stuff for 2001

Larry & All, (...) Indeed. (...) Ah, evil Larry, exploiting poor AFOL's for commercial gain! ; ) Heh heh heh heh (insert maniacial laugh here) I need to get some train creations going, to see what I can come up with. Once I get settled into Indiana. (...) (23 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: new stuff for 2001

(...) Dave *Low* posted the fact that the pic was up on BrickSet(tm). :-) So it would be *Low* to spoof us that way, if it was a spoof. :-) (...) You've seen James's work. I have been after him to commercialise the Cascade Talgo, I think it'd make a (...) (23 years ago, 28-Mar-01, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: new stuff for 2001

(...) The Dinosaur theme is 100% NO JOKE! First, I have seen all eight sets in february 2001. Second, I do own one of these dinosaurs already. Third, the Dino images uploaded to Brickset have been taken from an official Japanese Consumer Catalog. (...) (23 years ago, 29-Mar-01, to lugnet.off-topic.fun, lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: new stuff for 2001

(...) No, it can't be true!! They're so ugly! A shame the pairs of legs are stuck together, although it'll be interesting to see what people can do with the new pieces. Good points: *Blue dragon arms, and is the T-Rex tongue a red dragon head? *The (...) (23 years ago, 29-Mar-01, to lugnet.off-topic.fun, lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.year.2001)

  Re: new stuff for 2001

(...) The card game is a quite old item and has been sold last year through Lego World Club. Some folks of the Adventurers newsgroup had bought their copy in one of the Legoland shops back in 1999, if I remember correctly. I wonder if the cardgame (...)   Re: new stuff for 2001

(...) After seeing the parts included in a $10 dino set I am even more excited than I was before. You buy a brachiosaurus which is not, IMO, an exciting dino, but you get the parts to turn it into a plesiosaur or some bipedal dino. Plus the parts (...)
