  Re: Calling it Quits

(...) These stupid jokes are starting to get on my nerves. I'd also say that this topic is entirely off topic for this group. It isn't fun (if it wasn't a joke, it's not fun, if it is a joke, it's sick, it's definitely LEGO related and therefor off (...)   Re: Web interface "quirk"?

(...) It could probably go in either, but since this is news-related, I'm more comfortable with it being in the .nntp group. If you're talking about the TLC filter, that's pretty much entirely and .nntp thing. (...) Ya, it's a quirk (and I find it (...)   Re: Using a Lugnet member's page as a splash page for a Brickbay store.

(...) I don't have anything against using a Lugnet(TM) page as a splash page in your store. Only FYI, you can use your Brickbay "About Me" page as your splash page which you can edit right in myBrickbay and don't have to use any FTP program every (...)   Re: Turnaround Time on CLSOTW Ad Banner Submissions?

(...) Sorta; it says within a day or so after having been received and processed. It's been received but not processed. I'll go process it now. Sorry about the confusion...it's not clear on that page what it means...it's meant to be fuzzy. Check (...) (25 years ago, 25-Mar-01, to lugnet.admin.general)

Turnaround Time on CLSOTW Ad Banner Submissions?

How long should one expect to wait for a submitted CLSOTW ad banner to be registered and added to the queue? According to: (URL) states within a day or so, pending approval. I've submitted two banners, compliant with the submission rules. The first (...) (25 years ago, 25-Mar-01, to lugnet.admin.general)

(...) me a tech-type guy with "RTFM" above his desk. :/ (...) S'okay, I'm not worried about that... anyone clicking a link from my splash page will be leaving my store anyway. :) thanks, James (25 years ago, 25-Mar-01, to lugnet.admin.general)

Using a Lugnet member's page as a splash page for a Brickbay store.

Well? Is it something that would be allowed? I've (briefly) tested it, and confirmed that it works, but I'm not certain about whether or not it's OK with Lugnet for me to do this. Aside from any thoughts of "appropriateness" with having Lugnet's (...) (25 years ago, 21-Mar-01, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.publish, lugnet.admin.general)

  wrong email address

I've changed my email address in my member profile, but I can only post when I use my old email address. Is there any way I can fix this? Sorry if this is the wrong place. Jimmy (25 years ago, 20-Mar-01, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Web interface "quirk"?

I am not sure I have the followup set right. I don't quite grasp if web interface issues belong in .general or .nntp (neither does the filter discussion belong in .nntp, but I digress). I have noticed the following behaviour which seems quirky to (...) (25 years ago, 17-Mar-01, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.admin.general)
