(...) I wonder if it has something to do with the image sizes being so small -- that the overhead of firing up IM for each image is the bottleneck. (...) The funny thing is, it's taking longer to convert from BMP24 to GIF than it did to render the images in the first place... I started to receive emails too. The first one was posted at 6:42 PM. It looks like it was just posted to LUGNET a very short time ago.
