  Re: partial set notation

(...) That isn't really the same thing.... I have just the train of a Metroliner and I wanted to put "0.5" in the "number of sets" box but I couldn't. I'd really like to be able to indicate somehow that I have less than a full set. Kevin (26 years ago, 24-Sep-00, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: partial set notation

(...) What I do is make a private note to myself in the notes field -- i.e., "One of my boxes is mushed on the corner and has a bright orange price sticker." --Todd (26 years ago, 24-Sep-00, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.general)

  Re: partial set notation

(...) [snip] (...) Yeah, I was thinking that too. I'd also be nice to be able to indicate this in the buy/sell columns. (I wouldn't mind buying a space shuttle with a few parts missing.) (26 years ago, 24-Sep-00, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.general)

  partial set notation

I would like to be able to indicate in my private set guide list that I have an incomplete set. I would like to do this in the space for the number, so it would show up in the total list-maybe as i for incomplete or p for partial. I did try these (...)   text to the left of the recent news?

Todd, Suz, whomever, I noticed that when I click on the marketplace news link, the text in the yellow area to the left of the four most recent posts includes a sale at Amazon that ended with August. So I guess I have a couple points. The first is (...) (26 years ago, 23-Sep-00, to lugnet.admin.general)

  RE: More set list requests...

(...) Yah, I have that stuff too, except for the price per minifig. Since I don't know the number of pieces for quite a few sets and since I've only bought about half (or less) of the sets I own, figuring out meaningful equations for my spreadsheet (...)   Re: More set list requests...

(...) hmm... ours has exactly all of those in it too... including the price we paid for a set and the average price we paid per piece and per minifig :) plus a percentage of our entire collection cost vs. the totaled msrp :) (26 years ago, 23-Sep-00, to lugnet.admin.general)

  More set list requests...

In my Excel spreadsheet (which I noticed has some errors) of the sets I have, I've done all kind of meaningless calculations, like the number of minifigs I have, the total original retail value of my collection, the average cost per piece, and stuff (...)   Re: Writing A Proposal

(...) It's done by the webserver automagically on links now (preserving other people's associate ID's, if present, of course) but if you're linking from your own external webpages and you'd like to add the 'lugnet' ID, here's how to do it: The (...) Is it possible to set the news server to reject or filter out, for all groups except o-t.debate, any message whose References: header contains any message whose Newsgroups: or Xref: header contains o-t.debate?   Re: Adding sets to personal set lists (was: no subject)

(...) If you're viewing a bunch at once -- say, a whole theme or a whole year -- you can click the "Full" link near the top and see 10 on a page at once. That's what I did anyway when I walked through all the Space sets to enter my list. I also (...) (26 years ago, 21-Sep-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Adding sets to personal set lists (was: no subject)

Along those same lines: When viewing sets in the guide, say: (URL) the "In the Community" section be put above the "My Collection" section? To me, this makes more sense. I'm much more likely to be looking at who else has it/who wants to sell it, (...) (26 years ago, 21-Sep-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.admin.general)

Hey Todd, Is there some way we can add the list of sets we own ((URL) adding them one at a time? For example, is there a way that I can send LUGNET a list of set numbers and have it add them all to my set list? If not, are you planning on adding (...)   Shopping Report Search by % off

Would it be possible to generate a list of sets by % off? For example clicking on the Price Blowout icon at the bottom of the report legend will take you to a list of all sets 50% off or better. What do you think? Chris mechanizedbrick@aol.com (26 years ago, 20-Sep-00, to lugnet.admin.general)
