  email copy to me ?!

Todd, Please make the default for the completely redundant "email my post to me" AKA "please spam myself unnecessarally" or "Damn, I forgot to uncheck that stupid box again" to unchecked. At least remember it from preview to post. (26 years ago, 25-Aug-00, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Suggestions for posting articles using web interface

It wants you to register your new address, just like it did the old one when you signed up via the web interface. ;-) Do that, fill in any appropriate details, and you should be fine.   Re: Suggestions for posting articles using web interface

This may be an old topic... but... I am set up to post. I use Outlook Express to do this. However, I would like to use the web interface to post when I am not at home. I tried to post from news.lugnet.com and it gave me the following error: (...) (26 years ago, 25-Aug-00, to lugnet.admin.general)

(...) OK -- changepoint here tonight: Beneath the editing window, there are now two buttons -- "Preview" and "Post." (And "Post" has the additional option of the e-mail checkbox.)   Member info on LUGNET?

G'day Todd & Suzanne, I've noticed something with the latest incarnation of the LUGNET home page. I cannot find an easy way to look up other LUGNET members.
