Who's ready for a challenging and fun group project?!

Hmmmm...don't know what I have to offer...I doubt I have the requisite
qualifications....BUT...

I'm lookin' at the new LUGNET homepage and thinkin' that we oughtta have a
special area which captures the spirit, imagination, and dedication of LEGO
builders and wraps it up in a Nice Neat Package with a Bowtie -- something
for outsiders, naysayers, friends, family, employers, journalists, and people
trapped in a LEGO blackout or dark-age.  Something to sweep the world off its
feet!

Sounds like a press kit or "Internet Grand Opening"... If you are
considering expending this much effort on a "neat little package"
(jack-in-the-box) for the uninitiated, you might want to give a thought as
to who you are going to share it with...(i.e. why only promote passively?)

By "Seven Wonders" I mean seven very different and _really truly amazing_
creations -- things that knock your socks off even if you're not a True
Believer in The LEGO Way.  :-)

Rather than being encumbered by a number like 7 or creating the expectation
of Niagara Falls or something....why not:

The Gallery

The Lego-politan Museum of Modern Art

Basically, a more general title than "7 Wonders" w/ an analogous real world
overtone/association (i.e. the Museum of Modern Art)

Here are some examples of what I mean:
* Giant sculptures (like the ones by Eric Harshbarger)
