Contacted Easyspace. They removed the website. Nice to see such prompt
response.

while good, this still doesn't solve the general problem of spam off lugnet.

How about hiding posting email addresses on messages posted, except for
members?  Just have it say "From: Dan_Boger@luget.com"  or just "From:
lugnet.admin.general@lugnet.com"?  Then if a member abuses it, it'll be a lot
easier to block him...

Makes sense?

(...) then all the mail spammers send would be going directly to lugnet, something i don't think any of us want (especially the sysadmins!). spammers generally don't handpick e-mail addresses, they usually harvest them from the web or newsgroups or (...) (24 years ago, 26-May-00, to lugnet.admin.general)
