| (...) while good, this still doesn't solve the general problem of spam off lugnet. How about hiding posting email addresses on messages posted, except for members? Just have it say "From: Dan_Boger@luget.com" or just "From: (...) (24 years ago, 26-May-00, to lugnet.admin.general)

Freeserve doesn't explicity outlaw spam but they do say "In particular, you will not use Freeserve to transmit or post anymaterial which is defamatory, (...) (24 years ago, 26-May-00, to lugnet.admin.general)
