Freeserve doesn't explicity outlaw spam but they do say "In particular, you will not use Freeserve to transmit or post anymaterial which is defamatory, (...) | | | | | (...) They do seem to leave enough room to terminate accounts for situations like this. If I was an ISP, I would attempt to get this problem resolved, and reccomend they change their T&C. | | | | | (...) then all the mail spammers send would be going directly to lugnet, something i don't think any of us want (especially the sysadmins!). spammers generally don't handpick e-mail addresses, they usually harvest them from the web or newsgroups or (...) Although (in theory) it would be very easy to 'hide' email addresses from non-members via the web interface, it's much less practical via SMTP and almost completely (...)
