Well, jeez, since _you_ think it's straightforward, everyone else must too.

While I'm sure you're being sarcastic here, I'd like to point out that I'm not
perfect like Larry.  I do sometimes make mistakes, and in those rare
instances, I am sure there are people who, rightly so, disagree with me.

I'm pretty sure most people would agree with me on what I said above, though.
The grouping of English words Todd used in the TOS _are_ very
straightforward.  If you don't agree, think about it some more.

(Note: I don't read .space but since you mention these, almost in a "but he
did it so why can't I?" kinda way, let me take a look at them.)

I am a newbie here, but since I saw these posts, I thought it might be ok.

Slightly out of line.  At least it appears to have been cross-posted to .buy-
sale-trade.  Still shouldn't have been posted to .space, imo, although this is
not an auction notice, but it is a solicitation to sell this set, so I
wouldn't want to see something similar in .castle, which I do read.

That one's completely out of line.  Can't imagine Todd _not_ responding to
that, but who knows.  Not my job to tell Todd how to do things.

Don't see a problem with this.  A guy is looking to acquire a set, while also
mentioning he got something cool.  No offer to sell, barely an offer to trade,
more a "hey, all you Space-nuts, I need one more set to complete this blah-
blah, hook me up please."

Granted, these are not necessarily auction offers, but they are offers that
should be in one of the various marketplace topics. Nobody complained about
any of these, so I figured it might be ok.

Well, if nobody complained about the first two I'm surprised.  I'm reminded,
though, of something my mother used to say to me when my little brother and I
would fight and one of us would claim the other started it.  You guessed it,
two wrongs (or even three or four) don't make a right.  Three lefts do, I'm
told, but I've never tested that.

Anyway, I really, really, really get the point now. Thanks.

Cool, that's the important part.  You're new here, you'll make mistakes.  Most
people do, nothing wrong with it.

Welcome to LUGNET - we're all good people, even if some of us come across as
pompous jerks from time to time (that would be me, just in case it isn't
clear).
