I think Larry is absolutely right. It -ought- to work like that, in case
someone happens to type that in if they can't find the page easily (say,
they knew it was there and they'd been to it before, but they couldn't
remember the URL off-hand). The reason it ought to work that way is because
there's nothing at /members/ and because redirection is trivial to set up.
So it only helps, it can't hurt. And therefore not doing it hurts.

IIRC, http://quotes.yahoo.com/ actually used to go to Yahoo's stock quotes
page a while back. I don't know about you, but it's much easier for me to
type Ctrl-O quotes.yahoo.com Enter than it is to move my hand over to the
mouse and click up Yahoo and then click down through the links to find what
I want...so I completely understand what Larry means. :)

Nope, that's not why. It's not a time thing -- it would take less than a
minute to add a link there. The reason there hasn't been a highly visible
link is because memberships aren't ready to be heavily promoted yet. Now
that the numbers are into the 150's, however, it's probably safe to make it
a little bit easier to help newbies find the intro page (but not too easy
yet).
You can be sure then when there's more actual meat there, BTW, it'll be
impossible to miss. :)
