Hey Terry,
I actually don't think this is a software issue. At some point this weekend my
"Scenes from Los Angeles" post was the number one post, and it had only 3
votes.* The current top post (Tony's great ship) has only 5 votes (one of them
mine). So unless people start voting, posts will make it into the top of the
list with minimal human reccommendations.
I really think that four Lugnet members could get together and take over the
highlight list by coordinating their spotlighting. It'd be pretty funny if they
did this with a less popular theme. Do I have three compadres who will join
with me to spotlight every Belville post? :D

*It's always a big ego boost to see your own work at the top of the list,
followed by a big letdown when you reallize that only really means that like 2-4
people out of the 2732 Lugnet members liked it. :/

They all talk about pneumatics, which usually interests only a small percentage of the AFOLs, not because it's (...) (20 years ago, 1-May-05, to lugnet.admin.general) !
