  Re: lugnet.market newsgroup not working?

(...) Hmmm. I'd call it "the web page for lugnet.market", except that there isn't any such thing. :) I guess the clearest thing to call it is "(URL) Matthew Miller mattdm@mattdm.org (URL) Boston University Linux ------> (URL) (21 years ago, 25-Mar-04, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: lugnet.market newsgroup not working?

(...) My apologies. I'm apparently referring to this thing by the wrong terminology, in using the word "newsgroup." What I'm talking about here is the page I see with a web browser at (URL) get there by clicking the "marketplace" link at (URL) this (...) (21 years ago, 25-Mar-04, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: lugnet.market newsgroup not working?

(...) Yeah, the existence of a subgroup does not necessarily imply that its parent is valid. Consider that you can't post to just "lugnet". There's also no "lugnet.admin". [ -> .admin.nntp ] (21 years ago, 25-Mar-04, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.admin.nntp)

  lugnet.market newsgroup not working?

Has anyone else noticed problems with the top-level lugnet.market newsgroup? I find that it won't load, although the lower-level groups (lugnet.market.shopping, for example), are doing fine. (21 years ago, 25-Mar-04, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Is it just me, or...

(...) This is a definate problem on Lugnet - but I don't see the cause as excessive "cliques". Blaming it on cliques is a convienent, easy way to blame the community, rather than anything else. One of the things to understand here is that we are a (...) (21 years ago, 16-Mar-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.admin.general, FTX)

  Re: SOLICITATION FOR INVESTMENT ASSISTANCE

(...) I believe that the connection is that the lego-robotics@crynwr.com list doesn't prevent this class of spam, so it gets gated over to LUGNET. We are seeing this more and more of late but maybe it's best to just ignore it unless the (...) (21 years ago, 14-Mar-04, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Two ways you can help LUGNET ...

Good idea Tim. The two I can think of right now are: A) Title - World LUG map update/upgrade Purpose - To update the information held on Lugnet relating to AFOL organisations and ensure it can be easily kept up to date Co-ordinator - Todd Lehman (...)   Two ways you can help LUGNET ...

If you're looking for a way to contribute to LUGNET, here are a couple ways you can help in the transition 'to the next level.'   Re: Server installation photos
