  Re: Monkeypede

Quick followup with more notes: I have MLCad set to be my default program to load LDraw files. It works just fine with opening files on my hard drive, but it will fail to open the file when LUGNET passes it 'ldraw.cgi.' Is this an MLCad problem? (I (...)   Re: Monkeypede

Todd - This is an old topic, and I came across it cause I was browsing for models posted on the groups. It brings up a concern of mine - the CAD DAT groups and file associations/extensions in Windows. I'm a bit rusty on MIME-types in Win2K, cause I (...)   Re: Problem with Password page?

(...) Brady, I've fixed the problem -- although unfortunately I don't understand exactly what was causing the hang-up. It had to do with file locking rather than CPU consumption. I changed the version of Perl (5.00503 instead of 5.6.1) that's being (...) (21 years ago, 11-Apr-03, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: Problem with Password page?

(...) Well, I'll be darned...it's doing it to me too. Thanks for reporting this... I'll get to the bottom of it and let you know when it's fixed. --Todd (21 years ago, 11-Apr-03, to lugnet.admin.general)

  Problem with Password page?

Hi! I am a brand new member, so please excuse the confusion if I am asking a FAQ. I am trying to add a password, but cannot get it to work. Anytime I try to add--or even replace--from the password page, it just simply sits there forever. Doesn't (...) (21 years ago, 11-Apr-03, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Virus spam from Kim Brodie targetting LUGNET members?

I got this one too today. Not sure it was from Kim, but the attachment (patch.exe) was deleted by our mailserver telling there was a virus. This was first time I got it S Sproaticus <jeremy@sproat.us> wrote in message news:HD36qs.13A1@lugnet.com... (...) (21 years ago, 9-Apr-03, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Virus spam from Kim Brodie targetting LUGNET members?

(...) Sorry, mate. I haven't posted anything on the top news, and I've been "under fire" for the past three weeks. Today was a "not so ad" day, only one e-mail with fake microsoft patches came into my inbox. (...) Same here. (...) The messages I've (...) (21 years ago, 9-Apr-03, to lugnet.admin.general)

Well I am on the list and I certainly don't consider myself on of the top members of the community - unless I am mistaken, which in (...) (21 years ago, 9-Apr-03, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Virus spam from Kim Brodie targetting LUGNET members?

(...) I extracted one of those files a couple weeks back and scanned it. It is: Win32.Gibe.B worm. I've had probably a dozen emails with similar LUGNET lists of recipients, but from several different sources. Play well. Tim Strutt (21 years ago, 9-Apr-03, to lugnet.admin.general)

(...) good - less of a chance it would be used to spam other people then :) You should never set up an email sending form that gives the user any control over where it's sent to. :) (21 years ago, 9-Apr-03, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Virus spam from Kim Brodie targetting LUGNET members?

(...) I don't know if I'm one of the top 100, but I'm a frequent loudmouth. I joined LUGNET (officially) just the other day, and I've received 2-3 daily emails from Ms. Brodie since then. I didn't make the connection until you pointed it out, (...) (21 years ago, 9-Apr-03, to lugnet.admin.general)

Re: Virus spam from Kim Brodie targetting LUGNET members?

Virus spam from Kim Brodie targetting LUGNET members?

Heya y'all, I don't know if this is old news or not, but a LUGNET search on "brodie" turned up 0 results. OTOH, it seems there was some discussion about 2 weeks back about a virus email hitting .space and .castle users... Anyway, for about a month (...)
